The terms under which the tools, data and guides on this site are provided

Every tool on Space RHA is a preliminary analysis aid. It will do the arithmetic of a published method or a compiled data set correctly, to the best of our ability, and it will show you the assumptions it made. It does not know your part, your circuit or your mission, and it cannot replace a radiation engineer's judgment or a test on the part you intend to fly. Use the results to decide what to look at next, to size a test, or to check someone else's number, and verify them before they go into a design decision.

Legal terms. The tools, data, guides and accompanying documentation on this site are provided for preliminary analysis and educational purposes only. Results have not been independently verified or validated for use in mission-critical decisions. Users are solely responsible for verifying all outputs against their own analysis and applicable standards before making any design, test, or mission decisions. Space RHA LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the results produced by these tools, and shall not be held liable for any damages arising from their use.

Data and attribution

Where a tool implements a published model, the paper and its authors are named on the tool page. Where a tool rests on a compiled data set, the sources, the exclusions and the treatment of proprietary records are described in its methodology section; proprietary and export controlled data are never published here, and anonymized trends drawn from them are labeled as such. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.

How the tools are made

The code and text of the tools are written with Claude, Anthropic's AI model, under Greg Allen's direction, and reviewed before publication; the About page describes the process and its limits. Records of the checks of each engine against the paper it implements are published where they exist; they check the code, not the model. None of this changes the terms above: every result is a preliminary analysis aid and must be verified before it enters a design decision.
